About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and reliable Production Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business in Wrexham, specialising in electrical products. This is a hands-on role involving soldering and electrical sub-assembly, working to high quality standards within a supportive team environment. The company offers long-term opportunities and the chance to secure a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical sub-assembly, including soldering components to PCBs

     

  • Assemble electrical products in line with drawings, work instructions, and specifications

     

  • Use hand tools and soldering equipment safely and accurately

     

  • Conduct visual and functional quality checks to ensure products meet required standards

     

  • Follow production schedules to meet daily output targets

     

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area in line with health & safety requirements

     

About You

To be successful as a Production Operator, you'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in electrical assembly, soldering, or electronics manufacturing

     

  • Confidence using hand tools and soldering irons

     

  • A good understanding of quality control and health & safety procedures

     

  • Strong attention to detail and a reliable, team-focused attitude

     

Desirable Skills

  • Soldering (through-hole and/or surface mount)

     

  • Electrical or electronic sub-assembly

     

  • Reading basic schematics or assembly drawings

     

  • Quality inspection

     

  • Manual handling

     

  • Manufacturing or production experience
