Production Operator
31,200 per annum (starter salary) rising to 33280 (after 6 months) and 36400 (after 2 years)
Permanent opportunity in Wrexham.
4 on 4 off (days/nights 7-7)

The role:
Working in a team of 6 you will work together as an effective team to meet quality and production standards in a heavy industry environment where health and safety is paramount.

Responsibilities of the Production Operator:

  • Working in 3 different skill areas - casting, melting and sawing
  • Operating a range of machinery (including overhead cranes - training provided)
  • Maintaining a clean working environment
  • Regular use of computers including Microsoft office and manufacturing systems
  • Occasional requirement to drive an FLT, side loader and load shovels (training provided)


The Candidate:
The successfully appointed Production Operator will have the following skills and abilities:

  • Basic IT literacy
  • Takes pride in their work
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Background working in heavy industry would be useful but not essential
  • An FLT licence is desirable but not essential
