Sous Chef required to join an established kitchen team at a property in the Wrexham area. The benefits of this role include some straight shifts and a 40 hour week.

As Sous Chef, key attributes / experience required are:

  • Previous Sous Chef or an experienced Junior Sous / Senior Chef de Partie, looking for the next step up and career progression.
  • Chef experience ideally from within a hotel or similar.
  • Candidates require a good all-round background to include restaurant service and experience of catering for conference and banqueting also.
  • You will assist the Head Chef with the kitchen team management and have a passion for training, motivation and development of the kitchen brigade, which are very important factors.
  • A candidate who is able to cover for the Head Chef on days off / holidays, to manage the kitchen and team to ensure all runs smoothly to the required standard to meet client expectations.
  • Good organisation, kitchen management, stock control and food hygiene control are essential.
