Are you passionate about fostering growth and development? Our high speed manufacturing site are looking to appoint a Site Technical Training Coordinator who will play a pivotal role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our Wrexham employees. In this role you will be at the heart of our continuous improvement efforts, ensuring our team is equipped to excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment: Ensure colleagues meet training standards, maintain skills matrix, and create new assessment criteria. Track progress against annual plans.
  • Training: Plan and deliver engaging training sessions, including compliance and technical training. Facilitate CI events, induct new employees, and audit training standards. Deliver at least 4 weeks of training per year.
  • My Learning / Skills Matrix: Manage and update training records and skills matrix. Benchmark against other sites to maximize potential.
  • Reporting: Track and report training activities and budget performance. Lead site training meetings, maintain KPIs, and manage training providers.
  • Apprenticeship Programme: Oversee apprenticeship routes, provide feedback, and support site leadership in managing apprentices.
  • Other: Represent the site at external events, manage training requisitions, support site reviews, and ensure documentation updates.

What we need from you?

  • 5+ years in training coordination, ideally in manufacturing.
  • Train the trainer qualification (desirable).
  • CIPD L3 in Learning & Development (desirable).
  • Technical/Engineering background (advantageous).
  • Experience with LMS and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and Health and Safety practices.
  • Analytical skills to interpret numerical data.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and goal-oriented approach.
  • Flexibility or willingness to travel.
