For the successful Handyperson, our client is offering:

The Role – Handyperson:

  • Carry out a variety of general maintenance and repair tasks around the manufacturing site.
  • Perform basic plumbing, joinery, painting, and decorating duties.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of outdoor areas, including pathways and yard areas.
  • Ensure internal communal areas (offices, break rooms, etc.) are maintained to a high standard.
  • Respond to minor building and equipment maintenance requests from various departments.
  • Support in minor assembly, installation or relocation of furniture and equipment.
  • Liaise with contractors and site teams when larger repair or maintenance tasks are required.
  • Comply with all health & safety regulations and company standards.

What our client is looking for in a Handyperson:

  • Previous experience in a general maintenance or handyperson role – ESSENTIAL
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, or carpentry – ESSENTIAL
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment – DESIRABLE
  • Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and use initiative
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a hands-on attitude
  • Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks safely
