Recruit4staff are representing a well-established food manufacturing business in their search for a Multi Skilled Shift Engineer to work in Wrexham
Job Details:
- Pay: £51,000 per annum
- Hours of Work: Continental 12.25-hour shifts, rotating days and nights (5:45–18:00 and 17:45–06:00)
- Duration: Permanent

Job Role: As a Multi Skilled Shift Engineer, you will deliver both proactive and reactive maintenance to ensure equipment meets efficiency and reliability targets. Your focus will be to minimise downtime through effective fault finding and repair, support continuous improvement initiatives, and assist in integrating new machinery. You will work closely with the Projects Engineering and Technical teams to maintain audit readiness and ensure a safe, compliant working environment at all times. Communication and collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders are essential, along with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar Multi Skilled Shift Engineer role
- Qualified either electrically or mechanically (or time-served), with the ability to work confidently across both disciplines
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proven initiative and drive to deliver successful outcomes
- Willingness to learn new machinery and engage with equipment manufacturers
- Engineering experience in a food manufacturing environment
