- Analyse non-conformance data (e.g., scrap, rework, customer complaints) to identify trends and quality improvement opportunities.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions in line with internal and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to create and maintain inspection visual aids and ensure up-to-date quality documentation.
- Oversee inspection stamp control processes, ensuring compliance with standards and procedures.
- Participate in MRB meetings and lead/support 8D investigations.
- Conduct and maintain containment audits, confirming implementation of quality alerts and process controls.
- Support FAIR (First Article Inspection Report) preparation and lead quality input for PFMEA and control plans.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of policies and procedures in support of AS9100 accreditation.
- Track and report quality KPIs and participate in continuous improvement activities.
- HND/Degree in Engineering or related field, or
- 5+ years of equivalent experience in aerospace or manufacturing quality roles.
- Minimum 5 years in a Quality/Engineering function within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of Chemical Processing or Welding processes.
- Knowledge of AS9100 and NADCAP standards.
- Experience with FAIRs, PFMEA, and inspection processes.
- Experience leading internal audits to AS9100.
