As a Gas Engineer you will be:
- Service, repair and maintain domestic heating systems while following all H&S guidelines, safe working practices, operational procedures, gas safety regulations and specifications.
- Take part in out-of-hours work, including overtime and callouts, and carry out any extra maintenance tasks that fall within your remit.
- Provide excellent customer service, keep customer satisfaction and safety high, and be flexible with different customers' needs and schedules.
- Record all work accurately on your PDA, and report any accidents, near-misses, or potential hazards
- Hold ACS qualifications: CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT, plus a full UK driving licence, with flexibility and a positive attitude towards varied work and schedules.
- Provide excellent customer service with experience working with the public and have strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices and working to best standards.
- Have a solid understanding of the legislation and regulations relevant to the ACS modules above and be able to manage your own time and workload independently.
- Recognised formal qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) are desirable, along with additional qualifications like LPG or Unvented (also desirable)
