Overview:

Everest People Solutions are recruiting for a skilled Production Supervisor on behalf of a leading food processor. As production supervisor you will manage production operations within a slaughter facility. This role ensures operational efficiency, compliance with safety and quality standards, and the achievement of company KPIs.

Key Responsibilities for the Production Supervisor

  • Lead and manage the production team, ensuring efficient performance and compliance with quality standards.
  • Train and develop staff, conduct performance reviews, and manage attendance and holiday planning.
  • Oversee cutting, processing, and packaging teams to ensure smooth operations, minimize downtime, and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor KPIs, track performance, and optimize labor, yield, and production costs.
  • Ensure product traceability, GMP compliance, and adherence to food safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain personal hygiene standards and ensure proper training on critical control points.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations, report incidents, and drive initiatives to reduce accidents.
  • Ensure the team follows protective equipment protocols and safety systems.
  • Drive process optimization and lean initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
  • Assist with production projects and ensure the highest standards of bird welfare.

Essential Requirements for the Production Supervisor

  • Supervisory experience in a slaughter or FMCG environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and production processes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
