Proactive Personnel is seeking an experienced plant fitter to service and repair heavy plant equipment both in the workshop and on-site.
The role involves servicing and maintaining machinery such as excavators, dumpers, and telehandlers, along with diagnosing faults and completing repairs.
Candidates should have experience with plant, HGV, agricultural, or mechanical equipment, as well as a good understanding of hydraulics and engines.
A full driving license is required, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.

Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced plant fitterto service and repair a range of heavy plant equipment, both in the workshop and on site.

Responsibilities

Service and maintain plant machinery (excavators, dumpers, telehandlers, etc.)
Diagnose faults and complete repairs safely and efficiently
Carry out hydraulic, mechanical, and basic electrical work
Complete service records and follow company safety standards

Requirements

Experience with plant, HGV, agricultural, or mechanical equipment
Good understanding of hydraulics and engines
Full driving licence
Able to work independently and as part of a team
