Senior Healthcare Assistant - Wrexham Care Home

Salary: £13.42/hr

We are currently looking to recruit for day shift workers and night shift workers for a care in Wrexham.
On the day shift you will be working 2.5 days per week (28 hours) and on the night shift it will be 3 nights per week (36 hours)

Are you a compassionate and experienced care professional looking to take the next step in your career? We're recruiting three Senior Healthcare Assistants to join a well-established care home in Wrexham, where your skills and dedication will make a real difference every day.

What You'll Do:
Provide high-quality personal care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
Supervise and support junior care staff
Contribute to care planning and ensure care is delivered to the highest standards
Administer and record medications (following training and protocols)
Monitor and report changes in residents' health and wellbeing
Maintain clear communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Keep accurate and up-to-date care records
Promote independence and dignity in all aspects of care

What We're Looking For:
Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (Level 3 preferred)
Previous experience in a senior or supervisory care role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Proof of right to work in the UK and National Insurance
Ability to commit to 36 hours per week
Own transport is essential due to limited public transport access
