We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled and reliable Vehicle Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for vehicle repair and maintenance.
Duties include:
- Carrying out thorough inspections of vehicles to identify faults and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Performing routine maintenance (oil changes, tyre rotations, brake inspections, etc.)
- Using diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle problems accurately
- Repairing or replacing faulty components, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
- Maintaining accurate service records and logging parts used
- Working with colleagues to improve workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Keeping the workshop clean, safe, and organised
Requirements:
- Proven experience in vehicle repair and maintenance
- Confident in the use of power and hand tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Able to work independently as well as within a team
- Good communication skills for colleagues and customers
- Full UK driving licence
