English Teacher – Permanent Position (M1–UPS3)
Location: Havering
Start Date: September 2025

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in Havering from September 2025. This is a permanent, full-time position, offered on the Main Pay Scale to Upper Pay Scale (M1–UPS3), depending on experience.

You will be part of a supportive and collaborative English department with a strong focus on high standards, creative teaching, and excellent outcomes for students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 teaching available for the right candidate).

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a qualified teacher (QTS) with a strong background in English language and literature

• Brings energy, enthusiasm, and a love for their subject into the classroom

• Has high expectations for all students and a commitment to inclusive education

• Works well as part of a team and is eager to contribute to wider school life
