Job Title: Tractor Gang Mower Driver
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Initially 3 months with the potential to turn permanent depending upon performance
Rate of Pay: 13.00 per hour
Duties:
- Operate ride on mower either a Toro LTF3000 or Ransomes mp493 to cut highway verges and open spaces, ensuring a neat and professional appearance.
- Perform pre operation check of machinery via check safe app.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Mow grass in a variety of terrains and conditions , adjusting cutting height and speed as needed.
- Perform basic maintenance on machinery, such as cleaning and lubrication.
- Report any machinery malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including areas mowed and time spent.
Experience Required:
- Ideal candidate will have experience operating ride on mower, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety.
Qualifications Required:
- Valid driving licence.
- Proven experience operating ride on mowers.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Lantra ticket or one years' experience
