Working Pattern: Full Time 37 hours per week Monday to Friday

About Us
Our HR Casework and Change Team empowers our council to manage people effectively through consistent and practical HR advice. We're committed to fostering a workplace culture that values collaboration and innovation.


What You'll Do
As an HR Advisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring our managers receive the guidance they need on key HR issues, primarily focusing on:

Sickness absence management and probation support
Delivering HR activities for small workforce change projects, engaging with staff and trade unions
Monitoring the HR casework and change inbox, addressing queries promptly
Conducting research and analysis to present clear and actionable information
Administering casework documents efficiently

What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have:

Generalist HR experience, particularly in casework and workforce change
Knowledge of employment policies, procedures, and the legislative framework
A foundation HR qualification (e.g., CIPD Certificate in People practise) or be working towards one
A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving
