Furniture Technician - 32,000 per annum plus overtime. Based in North Bristol / South Glos (role will cover M4 corridor to London & surrounding areas). Benefits include 30 days holiday, Pension, On-site parking, Lunches provided. 45 hrs per week (Mon to Fri)
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Furniture Technician to join our successful client who manufacture high end office furniture to clients across the UK. Reporting to the Operations Manager and working as part of a small installation team, this role will suit someone who has strong practical skills and ideally has experience of fitting furniture (or similar equipment) together and is able to use power tools. In addition you must have a full UK driving licence.
Duties of the Furniture Technician will be:
-Installation of furniture products at customer premises
-Providing after care and carrying out snagging work
-Service calls to follow up on installations
-Delivering products to customer sites
-Helping out in production & the warehouse
-Loading & unloading vehicles
The successful Furniture Technician will have excellent customer facing skills and be able to carry out a high standard of work and ensure installations and work is carried out and finished to a high standard, ensuring the customer is satisfied at all times. In addition you must have a flexible approach to your working hours, as sometimes there may be early starts or late finishes - depending on customer requirements. This role will involve be predominantly on the road carrying out installation and fitting jobs, however there will be occasions when you will be required to help out within the warehouse.
