This is a permanent position with a well-established organisation offering impactful work, career growth, and occasional overseas travel.As a key part of the Engineering team, you’ll contribute to the full product lifecycle—from design through to production—developing high-performance mixed-signal electronics.Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop analogue and digital circuits for precision instrumentation
  • Mixed-signal work including amplifiers, filters, ADCs, and power supplies
  • Develop embedded systems based on microcontrollers (C/Assembler)
  • Support PCB layout, prototyping, and fault-finding
  • Prepare design documentation, specifications, and test plans
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers and technical teams
  • Occasional travel to customer sites, including overseas/offshore
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Strong background in analogue and digital circuit design
  • Hands-on prototyping, soldering, and PCB assembly
  • Experience with embedded C and microcontroller development
  • Familiarity with interfaces like I2C and SPI
  • Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., OrCAD)
Desirable Experience
  • FPGA or PAL design
  • Circuit modelling and simulation
  • Linux or embedded OS experience
  • CAD PCB layout and fault-finding
Qualifications
  • BSc/BEng in Electronics Engineering (or related discipline), 2:1 or higher
