We are recruiting for a Quality/HSE Manager to lead, develop, and maintain the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental processes across our client; amarket leading environmental sensor design & manufacturing company.

Key responsibilities:

Effective management and administration of the organisations ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS)
Ensure the company is compliant with new legislation and changes to existing legislation.
Conduct internal audits, undertake site and project quality inspections.
Proactively champion quality best practice throughout the business.
Analyse complaints and non-conformances from internal and external audits, in collaboration with the Supply Chain Team.
Evaluate and analyse suppliers and sub-contractors in accordance with Quality Management System requirements, in collaboration with the Supply Chain Manager.


Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

Proven track record of driving continuous quality improvement in a manufacturing environment are required.
Strong understanding of business operations and financial principles.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire others. Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.

Qualifications

Relevant industry experience or degree in a relevant subject related to engineering or manufacturing.

Relevant certification e.g. NEBOSH, COSHH, NGC, GC3, IOSH, First Aid at Work, Fire Warden, ESD, ISO9001 QMS Internal auditing.
Personal qualities

Self-motivated and strong management skills are essential along with a desire to continue to improve on both a personal and professional level. The candidate must be keen to learn new skills and be comfortable working in a highly multidisciplinary environment. Candidate must be able to operate as part of a team but also be able to act on own initiative, must be methodical and pay great attention to detail and work well under pressure. Excellent communication skills are essential.

Security clearance will be applied for on appointment UK passport holders required plus proof of residency in UK for last 5 years.
