CMM Mechanical Inspection Team Lead / Senior Inspector
Location: Near Camberley, Surrey
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000
Our client is a well-established successful precision engineering company located near Camberley in Surrey. Due to growth, they are looking for an experienced Mechanical Inspector with Extensive knowledge of CMM programming / operating (PC-DMIS Software). Salary: £40,000 to £45,000
Essential Previous Experience Required for the role of Mechanical Inspection Team Lead / Senior Inspector:
- 3 years’ experience in similar role
- Educated to HNC or experience in lieu.
- Extensive knowledge of CMM programming / operating (PC-DMIS Software)
- Extensive knowledge of conventional metrology equipment (Micrometers, Verniers, Height Gauges, Plug Gauges etc.) and methods
- Extensive knowledge of machining, quality standards and treatment processes (preferably within the aerospace industry)
- Working knowledge of First Article Inspection process (FAI)
- Able to train/educate/share knowledge with the team
- Able to work to a high degree of complexity and accuracy
- Able to work under pressure and prioritise
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Knowledge of ERP or MRP production control systems
Mechanical Inspection Team Lead / Senior Inspector Skills:

- Computer Literate (Microsoft Office tools)
