Payroll Assistant - About The Role

You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring full compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Your role will be essential in managing payroll data, handling payments, and resolving any discrepancies that may occur.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Process and verify monthly payroll for all employees.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and laws.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee compensation and hours worked.
  • Assist in resolving any payroll discrepancies and inquiries from employees.
  • Prepare and analyse payroll reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with HR regarding employee data changes affecting payroll.
  • Assist in the annual audit process related to payroll and employee benefits.
  • Ensuring compliance with various policies (expenses, overtime and company car).

The successful Payroll Assistant will have:

  • Proven experience in payroll processing and finance operations.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll software and systems, such as ADP, Cintra and Sage payroll.
  • Understanding of general accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees and management effectively.
