This is a lovely opportunity for someone happy to take ownership of the financial transactions for an award-winning company.
The role itself covers all areas of finance, from fixed asset and journals to the day-to-day ledger processing and bank reconciliations. The purchase ledger will take a little more time than the sales ledger, but a lot of your time will be spent on weekly and monthly reconciliations.  Accruals and prepayments, journals, fixed asset all using sage and excel. If you had experience of stock control or sage projects that would come in useful as the role is expanding. You will report into the finance director and there are just the two of you in the team.Â
This role is long term and requires commitment of six to nine months, but it could lead to permanent work. The company are taking this opportunity to have a think about what the longer-term needs. Hybrid working is available once you are up and running, however quick or long that takes and this is a full-time role. Â
