About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join a leading provider of integrated facilities services on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This is a high-profile, site-based role supporting a key Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) contract, with annual revenues of approximately £16 million.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading financial operations, managing the month-end process, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and acting as a trusted business partner to both internal stakeholders and the client.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the local finance administration team and oversee all financial processes
- Manage month-end billing and produce accurate financial reports
- Analyse site performance and provide meaningful variance commentary
- Oversee payroll distribution, purchase order management, and subcontractor cost control
- Produce annual budgets, reforecasts, and ad-hoc financial reports
- Liaise with client teams and central finance to resolve debt and billing queries
- Deliver finance training to on-site teams and support system-related queries
What we are looking for:
Essential
- Facilities Management experience or a similar operational finance environment
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Word and PowerPoint
- Proven experience in financial control, reporting, and analysis
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects
- Strong business partnering skills and attention to detail
