About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join a leading provider of integrated facilities services on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This is a high-profile, site-based role supporting a key Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) contract, with annual revenues of approximately £16 million.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading financial operations, managing the month-end process, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and acting as a trusted business partner to both internal stakeholders and the client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the local finance administration team and oversee all financial processes
  • Manage month-end billing and produce accurate financial reports
  • Analyse site performance and provide meaningful variance commentary
  • Oversee payroll distribution, purchase order management, and subcontractor cost control
  • Produce annual budgets, reforecasts, and ad-hoc financial reports
  • Liaise with client teams and central finance to resolve debt and billing queries
  • Deliver finance training to on-site teams and support system-related queries

What we are looking for:

Essential

  • Facilities Management experience or a similar operational finance environment
  • Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Word and PowerPoint
  • Proven experience in financial control, reporting, and analysis
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects
  • Strong business partnering skills and attention to detail
