Housekeeping Assistant – Yeovil Hospital – From £12.21 per hour, 37.5 hrs per week
We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Yeovil Hospital, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role is ideal for a fully flexible individual who can work across various shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and maintaining hospital areas, including patient rooms, corridors, and communal spaces
- Sanitising restrooms and high-touch surfaces to ensure hygiene and infection control
- Emptying bins and safely disposing of waste
- Cleaning windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces for a professional and hygienic appearance
- Adhering to strict health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or professional cleaning (preferable but not essential)
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Understanding of hygiene and infection control standards
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
- Full flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
