HR ManagerLocation: Near Yeovil, SomersetSalary: £40-£50000Hours: Full-time, on-site

Are you an experienced HR professional ready to take the lead in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're seeking a proactive and hands-on HR Manager to join a well-established business near Yeovil, playing a key role in driving the people agenda on site.

Working closely with the senior leadership team, you'll manage the day-to-day HR function while supporting long-term business goals through effective people strategies. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a dynamic, high-performing organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all on-site HR operations, including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and policy implementation
  • Undertake all aspects of Recruitment
  • Provide expert guidance and support to line managers across the full employee lifecycle
  • Monitoring attendance, sickness & general employee performance
  • Lead HR initiatives focused on engagement, retention, and continuous improvement
  • Support health and wellbeing programmes, learning & development, and succession planning
  • Ensure HR practices remain compliant with current employment legislation
  • Preparation of weekly payrolls
  • Maintain accurate HR records and reporting using the company's HR systems

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in an HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor role, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels
  • Solution-focused, with a practical approach and a willingness to get stuck in
  • CIPD Level 5 - CIPD Level 7 preferred
