Following rotating shift pattern:
Monday - Friday 6am-2pm
Monday - Friday 2pm-10pm
HRGO Recruitment are seeking a motivated and driven Warehouse Assistant to join our client's family-based animal feed manufacturers based in Yeovil. They celebrate 125 years being one of the UK's leading and trusted animal feed manufacturers. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in the smooth operation of incoming and outgoing deliveries, stock in the warehouse and packaging duties.
General Duties:
- Operate within health and safety guidelines, legal requirements and Code of Practice for Cross Contamination
- Supervising bulk delivery vehicle at intake area and carrying out inspections
- Correctly label raw material sample bags and operate weighbridge duties when applicable
- Reconciliation of pre-ordered bagged dispatches or additions to stock during each shift
- Product packaging when required using the Press Operator
- Moving stacked pallets to clean and dry areas of the warehouse
- Ensure bags are checked and stacked neatly
Role Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience preferred not required
- Forklift Licence preferred but training can be provided
- Previous customer service experience preferred but not required
- Ability to remain motivated and reliable
- Previous Lorry Shunting experience would be a plus
