Fawkes & Reece South are working with a main contractor that works in collaboration with local authorities and private companies on civils and infrastructure related projects in South Wales, Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset. As part of this framework, they are delivering a project worth 12m with a scope of works that includes earthworks, drainage and culverts etc. They are seeking as Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join one of their busy teams.

As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will be reporting directly to a Senior Quantity Surveyor in a small team of up to 10 that includes other Assistant and Senior Quantity Surveyors. You will be involved in (but not limited to):

  • Accurate monthly forecasting
  • Producing and sending enquiries with relevant documentation to subcontractors
  • Producing monthly reports and cost value reconciliation
  • Change control and producing compensation events
  • Producing, submitting, and agreeing monthly applications
  • Attend weekly progress meetings

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:

Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent

Knowledge and understanding of basic quantity surveying principles

Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK (No sponsorship provided)

Candidates must also be able to drive as the role will involve site visits
