We are recruiting on behalf of multi award winning, National Accountancy Practice within their York office. Responsibilities: • Preparation of financial statements using FRS105, FRS102, FRS102 section 1a, and group accounts. • Assist in planning, conducting fieldwork, and completing audits using an electronic audit file system, under the guidance of a manager/partner. • Supervise and develop junior staff, including delegation and review of their work. • Conduct some on-site audits, predominantly working from the York office. • Manage a diverse client portfolio encompassing various industries and company sizes, primarily SMEs with some non-small/complex businesses. • Establish and nurture relationships with clients and their personnel. • Prepare draft Corporation tax computations.• Perform other ad hoc duties as directed by a manager.

Requirements:• Several years of experience in an accountancy practice, with a focus on audit assignments including planning and finalization. • ACA or ACCA qualified, or part-qualified working towards full qualification. • Proficient in IT skills, particularly Excel and Word; familiarity with popular accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks).
