Fantastic opportunity to join this luxury hotel on the outskirts of York. This senior position is pivotal in overseeing and managing the hotel's financial operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and contributing to the strategic growth of the business.THE ROLE: Oversee all financial activities and operations of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, analysing and reporting.Work closely with senior management to provide critical financial insights that support decision-making and drive profitabilityEnsure accurate and timely monthly and annual financial statements.Lead the preparation of annual budgets, cash flow management, and variance analysis.Monitor and review the hotel's financial performance, ensuring targets and KPIs are met.Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into financial trends, risks, and opportunities.Implement and maintain effective internal controls and financial policies.Produce the payroll for all employeesEnsure the Food and Beverage stocks are effectively controlled to ensure their budgeted targetsensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and tax obligations.Manage the accounting team, providing leadership, training, and performance reviews.Drive cost control initiatives to improve profitability.THE CANDIDATE:Hospitality experience preferred Qualified or QBE considered.
