We are seeking a dedicated Financial Controller to oversee all financial operations. This role is crucial for ensuring all financial procedures are in place and adhered to, supporting decision-making processes, and driving profitability.
Day-to-day of the role:- Oversee all financial activities and operations of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, analysing, and reporting.
- Work closely with senior management to provide critical financial insights that support decision-making and drive profitability.
- Ensure accurate and timely production of monthly and annual financial statements.
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets, manage cash flow, and conduct variance analysis.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting financial trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Manage payroll processing for all employees.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and tax obligations.
- Manage the accounting team, providing leadership, training, and performance reviews.
- Drive cost control initiatives to improve profitability.
- Proven experience in financial management within the hospitality industry (or similar industry).
- Strong understanding of financial operations, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing a team.
- £45,000 - £50,000 (DOE)Â
