About the Role:
We're currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Night Driver to join a busy distribution team based in York. This role primarily involves trunking work, but may occasionally include multi-drop deliveries depending on operational needs.
Its a great opportunity for a driver who enjoys straightforward night work but is also flexible when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completing trunk runs from the York depot and returning after delivery
- Occasional multi-drop deliveries as required
- Adhering to scheduled routes and timing requirements
- Conducting thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle checks
- Maintaining legal compliance with all driving and working time regulations
What Youll Need:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Some previous experience in trunking or multi-drop work preferred
- Strong timekeeping and communication skills
- A professional and safety-first attitude
