Sales Account Manager

OverviewWe are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Sales Account Manager to join a growing and dynamic team in the global distributor. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone motivated and commercially minded who enjoys building relationships and working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. This is a full-cycle sales role, ideal for candidates ready to take ownership of their own customer portfolio.

Details:

  • £28,000 + bonus + uncapped commission

  • Monday - Thursday, 8:15am - 5:00pm

  • Early finish Friday: 8:15am - 4:00pm

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full sales process from lead generation to closing and post-sale support

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and suppliers

  • Generate leads
  • Provide accurate and timely customer quotations

  • Manage purchase orders and monitor supplier performance

  • Consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets

  • Deliver excellent customer service aligned with company values

  • Maintain accurate CRM records

  • Increase revenue and profitability within existing accounts

  • Hold regular TEAMS meetings with customers

  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth order delivery

  • Resolve customer issues in collaboration with a manager or mentor

Qualifications:

  • Previous sales experience, including making outbound calls

  • Professional and positive attitude

  • Strong team player

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Strong time management and organisational skills

  • Able to work under pressure and on own initiative

  • Confident negotiator with strategic thinking abilities

  • Commitment, drive and enthusiasm for sales

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
