Strategic Account Manager

Our client is dominating the market, and as a result, are seeking a motivated individual to join our sales team in the North of England. This is a great opportunity for a strong sales professional, with a proven background in developing customer relationships and delivering target success.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales generation from existing accounts with the ability to navigate through procurement department
  • Delivery/Ownership of a defined sales quota
  • The ability to create and put into action a robust Account Management plan
  • Performance against defined Key Performance Indictors
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and functions that deliver against sales targets
  • Regular engagement with key divisional team leaders, including management, marketing and production.
  • Management of a defined geographic territory of customers/accounts
  • Selling to Public Sector and contributing to Frameworks and Tenders
  • Monitoring account performance and providing key insights to senior management

Qualifications

  • Strong sales experience preferably 3-5 years in a similar role
  • The ability to align objectives with buyers and stakeholders
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Team player with lots of energy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Performance-oriented with a strong drive for success
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve exceptional results
  • Proven record of success in Account Management
  • Ability to gain and impart strong product knowledge
  • Experience of working with larger sized businesses
