LOCATION: York (predominantly office based)

My client is seeking to appoint a full time Site Services Manager with a mechanical engineering background.

This growing and dynamic business prides itself on great customer service and business awareness. You will be joining an effective and enthusiastic team, who demonstrate excellent communication, commitment and drive.

As Site Services Manager, youwill be responsible for managing six site engineers.

You will have an ability to read engineering/technical drawings and understand basic engineering principles.

This role is very Health and Safety focussed, and you will be responsible for making sure that the engineers have all the correct equipment to attend sites and that work on sites is meticulously planned and executed. You will need to ensure that appropriate transport is available for engineers, and that this transportation is fit for purpose and roadworthy.

You will be involved in test certificates on equipment; Method Statements and Risk Assessments (RAMS) and you will put together job packs for the site engineers with all the necessary information.

You need great customer facing skills as you will be regularly liaising with clients - both before, during and after work has been undertaken and completed.

You will need to ensure that site visits are booked; that engineers can access the sites and that they are expected by the client.

You will provide clear and accurate information for sales quotations and assist with the preparationof servicing quotes.

This is an extremely varied and interesting role that requires an ability to develop good relationships with Customers and offer the highest level of customer service.

It is important that you have good IT skills using mainly Microsoft products.

A full clean UK Driving Licence is an essential requirement.
