The companyNigel Wright are pleased to be supporting a global FMCG business with the recruitment of a Continuous Improvement Manager.The roleThe site is already actively engaged with the Continuous Improvement journey, so this is a great opportunity for someone who is either looking for their first people management role in CI, or someone who has a mixed background across operations and CI, and now wants to focus more on Continuous Improvement initiatives. Although single site, there is an opportunity to work with sites across international locations, to share best practice and learnings, and whilst there will be some direction from group, this role would suit someone with an entrepreneurial flair who thrives on creating a culture where CI becomes part of the DNA of the site. The successful candidate will have operational accountability for the CI programme, and will actively seek out improvement opportunities. A natural ability to influence is crucial in ensuring others see the benefit in taking ownership for smaller CI projects. Working across multiple functions on the site, this is a great opportunity for someone who really wants to work across the business to drive improvements. The candidateWe are looking for someone who has experience in TQM/TPM/Six Sigma, and has demonstrable skills in driving improvement projects and achieving results. Someone who takes pride in ensuring people understand why CI is important, and making sure they have the skills and tools to be able to develop a CI mindset. Experience in FMCG or the automation industry is required.
