My client, a market leading multidisciplinary Engineering and Planning Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to join the Team based in York.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in Hydrology or Civil Engineering and have experience completing Flood Risk Assessment, Surface Water Management Plans and Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications. Candidates are also required to have civil design experience designing drainage systems, levels, site plans and highways.

It is beneficial for applicants to live near York.

As a Senior Consultant you will have the opportunity to work on varied projects spanning residential, commercial and retail projects for Private and Public Sector Clients and Local Authorities. You will be required to complete, review and amend Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Estimation, Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications and detailed SuDS, access roads and highways using Infodrainage, AutoCAD and Causeway Flow.

You will also be expected to design sites, earthworks, cut and fill and levels.
