Residential Care Shift Leader - Nights£15.43 per hour 36 hours per week3 x shifts per week | 7pm to 7am  We are recruiting on behalf of Harrogate Neighbours, a not-for-profit organisation with a proud reputation for providing high-quality care and support to people across the local community. They are now looking for a dedicated Shift Leader to join their Health Lodge team, working nights. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role where you'll support and supervise the care team to deliver safe, person-centred care for residents.  The Shift Leader role
  • Lead and support the night care team to ensure residents' safety and wellbeing.
  • Oversee care plans, risk assessments, and accurate record-keeping.
  • Administer and monitor medication in line with policies.
  • Provide hands-on personal care and respond to emergencies when required.
  • Liaise with families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
  • Delegate tasks fairly and support audits to maintain excellent standards of care.
 The Ideal Candidate
  • Experience of working in elderly care within a residential care setting.
  • Confident in supervising and supporting staff.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Able to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
  • Flexible to work nights on a rota basis.
