Senior Digital Engineer – Yorkshire | Advanced RF & Embedded Systems

A well-established engineering business working at the forefront of RF, microwave, and embedded technologies is looking for a Senior Digital Engineer to join its growing team. This is a hands-on role focused on developing digital and FPGA-based solutions for high-performance systems used in sectors such as aerospace, defence, and communications.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading hardware and firmware development across the full lifecycle -from concept and design to testing and production.
  • Designing digital control modules and embedded systems architecture.
  • Coding, simulation, and verification using industry-standard tools and equipment.
  • Supporting production test processes and improving existing systems for performance and reliability.

What we’re looking for:

  • A degree (or equivalent experience) in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in digital hardware design, schematic development, and testing.
  • Strong understanding of microcontrollers, sensor interfaces, and power supply design.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across engineering disciplines.
