Description
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinaries, and policy interpretation.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with organisational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with employment law and internal policies.
- Support line managers with performance management and workforce planning.
- Lead on complex casework, offering practical solutions and minimising risk.
- Contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures to support organisational growth.
- Deliver relevant training sessions to staff and management on HR best practices.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on all employee relations matters.
Profile
A successful ER Manager should have:
- Proven experience in employee relations within the not-for-profit or similar sector.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships across all levels.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Experience managing complex casework effectively and efficiently.
- A CIPD qualification or equivalent HR certification.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
