We at Logical Personnel are looking to recruit a Class 1 driver (C+E) to work at one of the largest confectionary distributors in the UK, based in York.
The ideal candidate must be flexible and be able to work various shifts with days, nights,shunting with nights out and also Saturday and Sunday.
Working on average 2 to 4 shifts per week with more throug busy periods.
We are looking for a HGV Class 1 Driver with all uptodate licences and have no more than 3 points for insurance criteria.
Pay rates
Day Drive 19.70
Night Drive 20.49
Shunting 21.41 Meal Allowance 10 Night out 26.14
Min of 6 hours paid per shift.
On average 8 to 12 hours shifts
There are various aspects of the role, you will be expected to drive load and unload if needs be and also there will be some shunting work involved, there will be some heavy lifting, pulling, pushing and twisting to move things around
This vacancy is on a temporary but long term ongoing basis
To be considered for this role you must have 12months experience of Class 1and thesuccessful candidate will be put forward for anassessment/induction on site followed by 3 days of training which will be paid.
