The Mechanical Assembly Fitter will work 37 hours per week - 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am to 4pm Friday (flexi-time is available)

Overtime - time and a half Mon-Sat and double time Sunday after 37 hours worked

25 days holidays and 8 bank holidays

5% pension, Private health insurance and 2 x base salary life insurance

Duties for the Mechanical Assembly Fitter include:-

  • Assembly of hydraulic / mechanical test equipment.
  • Mechanical assembly of submersible products consisting of structural components, pumps, motors, valves, manifolds, manipulators, specialist external equipment etc.
  • To perform pressure & electrical/optical function testing of cables, connectors and PCBs.
  • Perform a variety of tests including external/internal hydrostatic, static/dynamic weight, buoyancy and electrical function testing of PCBs during hydrostatic pressure test.
  • Accurately and efficiently complete all documentation associated with client/in house testing.
  • Complete all required QHSE documentation including Risk Assessments, NCR…etc.
  • Carry out maintenance to test equipment as assigned.
