The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Solicitor to join a well-established and forward-thinking legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling high-value corporate transactions and will be keen to further develop their technical expertise, lead on cases, and build strong, lasting client relationships.
You will work on a broad range of quality corporate and commercial matters, taking responsibility for your own caseload while being supported by a collaborative and experienced team. Regular use of a car will be advantageous due to client meeting locations.
Key Responsibilities
Advising on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, including share purchases, asset purchases, and MBOs.
Drafting and negotiating Joint Venture, Distributor, Agency, and Franchise Agreements.
Preparing and reviewing Partnership and Shareholder Agreements.
Advising on Company and LLP formation and compliance.
Drafting terms and conditions and advising on e-commerce and financial services matters.
Supporting clients with related issues involving employment, intellectual property, and commercial property where required.
About You
3+ years PQE with relevant corporate/commercial experience.
A proactive and confident communicator with strong drafting and negotiation skills.
Client-focused with a commercial mindset and the ability to manage complex transactions.
A team player who demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and approachability.
