Employment SolicitorYorkHybridSalary negotiable (plus bonus)I'm working with a well respected top ranking Legal 500 firm in York who is looking to recruit an experienced Employment Solicitor to join their team and full or part time hours will be considered.This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a specialist team advising both claimants and respondents on a full spectrum of employment law matters. You'll be responsible for both contentious and non-contentious work, with a strong emphasis on building lasting client relationships and delivering strategic, business-focused solutions.Key duties will include:-
  • Advising on all aspects of employment law, including disciplinary matters, grievances, redundancy, TUPE, and dismissals
  • Representing clients in Employment Tribunal claims, including case preparation, advocacy, and settlement negotiation
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts, handbooks, and HR policies
  • Providing day-to-day support on workforce management and compliance
  • Supporting business development activities and maintaining strong client relationships
To be considered for the role you will have at least 3 years’ PQE with solid  employment law experience either respondent, claimant or both.
