Service care solutions are currently working alongside a developing combined authority, based in North Yorkshire, which is seeking an Governance and Regulatory Solicitor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to progress in your career and gain experience.This role pays a competitive rate of:£50-£55ph Umbrella Rate£44.06 - £48.41 PAYE RateResponsibilities as an Governance and Regulatory Solicitor:
  • Working on the review of the Combined Authority's constitution.
  • Developing a scheme of delegation with colleagues in the Finance Department.
  • Supporting the Independent Remuneration Panel with their review of remuneration of certain roles.
  • Working with colleagues in the Finance Department around the Annual Governance Statement and ensuring continuous monitoring against any actions.
About you as an Governance and Regulatory Solicitor:
  • Public sector/local authority experience
  • Experience in governance, including experience in reviewing constitutions and developing schemes of delegation
