We are seeking a dedicated Part Time/Legal Assistant/Administrator to join our client an established legal firm based in Easingwold. This role offers a varied and engaging experience, providing crucial support to fee earners through a range of tasks including typing, file management, form completion, administration duties, and financial statement preparation.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Draft and edit legal documents, correspondence, and client communications.
  • Manage file administration, including opening, maintaining, and archiving both paper and digital files.
  • Handle incoming/outgoing post, scanning, photocopying, and certified document stamping.
  • Process disbursements, assisted with banking duties, and supported invoice finalisation.
  • Deliver professional front-of-house service, managing calls, appointments, and client interactions.
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming reception and meeting space.
  • Conduct ID checks and followed firm policies and procedures.
  • Support colleagues across departments with legal admin tasks and reception cover.
  • Assist with meeting coordination, diary management, and general branch administration.
  • Contribute to team meetings and maintained a collaborative office environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous legal experience is desirable but not essential, administrative experience at least.
  • Proactive and positive approach to work.
  • Ability to thrive within a busy team environment and support colleagues effectively.
  • Exceptional client care capabilities, ensuring all interactions are handled with professionalism and empathy.
