Major Recruitment are looking to recruit an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver for our client based in the York, YO19 area.
Key Information:
- Working Hours (standard): Monday to Thursday, 7:30am - 5:00pm, Friday 7:30am - 3:00pm
- Peak Season Hours: During the last two weeks of November, hours will increase to Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 6:00pm, with additional weekend overtime available
- Location: York
Main Responsibilities:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift (approx. 70% FLT / 30% warehouse support)
- Loading and unloading pallets safely
- Transporting stock and materials across the warehouse
- Following all site Health & Safety guidelines
- Supporting with general warehouse duties as required
Candidate Requirements:
- A valid Counterbalance licence is essential
- Previous experience within a warehouse or distribution setting
- Flexibility to work additional hours during peak season
- Safety-conscious with a proactive and team-focused attitude
- Own transport required due to site location
