Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Running end-to-end monthly payrolls across the group
  • Processing timesheets, overtime, starters/leavers, P45s, and expense claims
  • Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations, RTI, PAYE/NI, and pensions auto-enrolment
  • Producing P11Ds, P60s, and supporting payroll year-end tasks
  • Managing payroll queries and liaising with government bodies and internal departments
  • Supporting the Payroll Manager and contributing to continuous improvement

Profile

  • Previous experience in a similar payroll processing role
  • Strong working knowledge of Dayforce (Ceridian) payroll system
  • Familiarity with UK payroll legislation and HMRC compliance
  • Professional payroll qualification (e.g. CIPP Certificate, Diploma in Payroll Management) - desirable
  • Confident with Microsoft Office and payroll software
  • Proactive, organised, and able to handle confidential matters discreetly
