Description
Key responsibilities include:
- Running end-to-end monthly payrolls across the group
- Processing timesheets, overtime, starters/leavers, P45s, and expense claims
- Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations, RTI, PAYE/NI, and pensions auto-enrolment
- Producing P11Ds, P60s, and supporting payroll year-end tasks
- Managing payroll queries and liaising with government bodies and internal departments
- Supporting the Payroll Manager and contributing to continuous improvement
Profile
- Previous experience in a similar payroll processing role
- Strong working knowledge of Dayforce (Ceridian) payroll system
- Familiarity with UK payroll legislation and HMRC compliance
- Professional payroll qualification (e.g. CIPP Certificate, Diploma in Payroll Management) - desirable
- Confident with Microsoft Office and payroll software
- Proactive, organised, and able to handle confidential matters discreetly
