Description
The Training Officer will be:
* Delivering essential training in areas such as safeguarding, health & safety, manual handling, infection control, and the Care Certificate.
* Supporting the rollout of training aligned with regulatory standards like the 2024 Consumer Standards and 2025 Competence and Conduct Standard.
* Coordinating training activities and maintaining accurate records to ensure compliance.
* Supporting digital learning systems, troubleshooting queries, and ensuring accessibility of content.
* Acting as a key point of contact for training-related queries from managers and colleagues.
Profile
The Training Officer should be:
* Experienced in delivering compliance and care-related training (e.g. health & safety, manual handling) or willing to undertake relevant qualifications.
* Knowledgeable about training requirements in regulated environments (housing or care).
* Confident presenting to varied audiences, both face-to-face and virtually.
* Organised, tech-savvy, and able to manage multiple training schedules and records.
* A strong communicator, able to build trust with stakeholders at all levels.
Desirable:
* Familiarity with e-learning platforms and blended learning
* Experience in housing, social care, or public sector settings
* Knowledge of digital tools, apprenticeship pathways, or coaching frameworks
