One of our clients are looking for a Senior QS to assist them on a live M&E pharmaceutical project in Hull. The client needs a self-starter who can take initiative.

This a hybrid role working on site 4 days a week.

Set-up:
* start of June start date
* 6-month initial contract
* Site in Hull
* Hybrid role - 4 days minimum on site
* Outside IR35

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the client.
  • Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
  • Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies.
  • Perform risk, value management, and cost control.
  • Identify, analyse, and develop responses to commercial risks.
  • Prepare and analyse costings for tenders.

Client wants:

  • M&E experience working for T1 contractors essential
  • Experience on pharmaceutical projects beneficial or similar industry experience i.e data centres
  • Proven experience as Senior QS/MQS
  • Able to take initiative and ownership of role potentially offering guidance to junior colleagues
  • Strong communication and good organisation skills and time management
