Finance Assistant

York

£26k pa to £27kpa

Our client on the outskirts of York is looking to recruit an additional Finance Assistant to the accountancy team. This Finance position will provide all round finance support to the department, helping manage and oversee a key account to the business, whilst also helping to ensure a wider support to the finance team where required.

Reporting to the Group Finance Manager the role will involve:

Duties :

  • Overseeing all finance duties for a key client.
  • Raising invoices.
  • Assist in Month-end account preparation
  • Debt collection.
  • Procurement and accounts payable.
  • General ledger and reconciliations
  • Producing reports as and when required
  • Assisting the wider finance team with duties
  • Any additional duties as required

The successful candidate will:

  • Previous experience working within an all-round finance role.
  • Excellent IT skills including: Microsoft Office
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communications skills
