- Deliver engaging sessions, in line with Gateway and NCFE standards, in Personal and Social Development, and Employability to a caseload of unemployed learners.
- Train, assess, motivate and support learners to develop personal and social skills to better prepare them for the working world and develop life skills.
- Prepare and deliver sessions which address the training needs of the group, to include reading and digital literacy.
- Utilise existing delivery resources, as well as preparing own when required.  Â
- Create and manage Individual Learning Plans; setting clear objectives which are aligned with their individual goals and needs.
- The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods, providing differentiation and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.
- Assist learners in identifying the skills required to progress towards their career aspirations.
- The successful candidate must be engaging and able to demonstrate energy and passion to motivate / train clients in order to help learners realise their potential.
- Promote Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding and Health and Safety.Â
- Must hold a recognised Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET or equivalent).Â
- Experience of delivering Personal Development and/or Employability.
- Must hold a Level 2 qualification in any of the following: Employability; PSD or Life Skills.
- Hold a Maths and English level 2 / equivalent
- Demonstrable energy and passion to motivate and train clients.
- Ability to overcome challenges and support learners to progress.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Demonstrate confidence, tenacity and ability to work on own initiative.
